The Atlantic City Decision

It was dark outside, very cloudly, wet roads and a sky constantly threatening rain, though not always following through.  There were supposed to be more of us - maybe even five of us if Hannah, Devon, and Kate had found a way to come - but instead there was just Chloe and myself, and we decided that if that were the case, we would have to have an adventure.  We looked on the map for things to do, but nothing seemed to come to mind, except for a certain city in southern New Jersey.  I considered just getting out somewhere and going for a walk in the countryside and rural areas of New Jersey, but it didn't really look like the night for that.  I wasn't sure how committed Chloe was to the idea, so I thought I would let her decide.  I was almost ambivalent myself, slightly leaning toward going, but it was a bit later than I hoped, we were going a little slower than I hoped, and the weather worried me a tiny bit.

A little way down from the Wawa on 322, we came to the intersection.  The right form lead us to Avalon, the left side to the city.

"Alright, this is it, decision time.  Are we going or not?"

"Yeah!  Do it.  Go."

So I turned left, and the moment we arrived, I knew she'd made the right choice.

Peace out.
